Q : What are TABI SOCKS?

TABI SOCKS or split-toe socks have been worn in Japan since the sixteenth century, reaching their peak during the Edo period (1600-1868). Q : Why do people wear TABI SOCKS?

People wear TABI SOCKS for comfort and style. If you like wearing thong sandals or slippers you will love wearing them with your TABI SOCKS. They keep your feet clean and warm in cool weather outside. They're convenient because you can wear them with any kind of shoe or no shoe at all.

Q : Who wears TABI SOCKS?

Lots of people wear TABI SOCKS. People who practice Japanese martial arts like Aikido, Ninjutsu and Shintaido wear TABI SOCKS and JIKATABI Boots and so do Taiko drummers, Suzuki actors and traditional Japanese folk dancers. But a lot of people wear TABI SOCKS just because they are so COOL.

Q : Are TABI SOCKS really good for you?

According to Shiatsu theory, wearing TABI SOCKS benefits the back, the spine, and the digestion due to the acupuncture meridians located between the toes. Also, some people find wearing TABI SOCKS keeps their toes from overlapping and prevents foot problems.

Q : I don't want to use Paypal/the shopping cart/my credit card. How else can I make a purchase?

To pay by personal cheque or money order please contact us by email, let us know what you want, where to ship to and what currency you want to use. We will send you the total and you can send a cheque or money order to us. You may pay in US or Canadian funds. Please note that US only money orders are not accepted at Canadian Banks. If sending a US money order, please make sure it's an International Money Order.

Q : My TABI BOOTS don't fit. Can I send them back?

If you need a different size, you may exchange them by sending them back to us. Let us know what size you need. We will ship the new size right away. Please write on the package, 'Return of Canadian Goods'. If you need your Tabi in a hurry please use the shopping cart and we will send a refund when we receive your boots in good condition. To avoid expensive customs duty charges if sending from the US, please ship by USPS rather than courier.
